Rick Baker

Dr. Baker is a retired pediatrician who has served on the CommuniCare Board since 2013. He received his BA from UC Berkeley, MA at UC San Francisco and his earned his MD from the University of California San Francisco School of Medicine. He served in the US Air Force as a pediatrician and later worked 35 years at Kaiser Permanente.

Rick is active in local government and serves on the Yolo County Health Department Oral Health Advisory Committee and Community Water Fluoridation Work Group, and also on the Yolo County Health Department Fetal and Infant Mortality Review Committee. He is passionate about patient advocacy, particularly for children.
