Iliana Chevez

Iliana Chevez has over 10 years of experience in community engagement and advocacy, working in program development, grant management, and data analysis for organizations in the non-profit and tribal sectors. Before joining California Coalition for Rural Housing, Iliana worked with the affordable housing developer, Mutual Housing California, the tribal government of Yocha Dehe Wintun Nation, and the California Primary Care Association. She has worked with local populations of low-income, elderly, youth, immigrant, foster, bilingual, and physically disabled citizens as well as state, local and tribal leadership. She received her bachelor’s degree in Community and Regional Development from UC Davis.

Iliana chose to participate on the CC+OLE Board to be an agent of change in the healthcare system and someone who holds responsibility to her communities. She joined the CommuniCare Board in 2017 and currently serves as the CommuniCare+OLE Board Secretary.
