Beatrice Labastida

Betty Labastida is a patient Board member who had a 47-year career as a Family Nurse Practitioner. She has a BS in nursing and master’s in health services and spent 20 years in the US Department of State Foreign Service. A patient and former staff member of OLE Health, Betty has become the consummate volunteer, spending countless hours in community service at the Napa County Commission on Aging, UC Master Gardeners of Napa County and helping with the Fruits and Veggies program at CommuniCare+OLE, among many other political and community service activities. Betty also volunteers with Napa Valley Together, assisting applicants for citizenship to complete forms and tutoring for citizenship exams.

Betty is an advocate of healthcare for all and has served on the Board for 10 years. She brings unique knowledge and perspective to the Board with her years of diverse nursing experience and past employment at OLE Health as a Family Nurse Practitioner. As a patient of the health center, she can appreciate the needs, struggles and successes in providing quality healthcare. She is dedicated to the continued success of CommuniCare+OLE for the benefit of the community.
