MINIMUM POSITION REQUIREMENTS: EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS/TRAINING
Education: | • High School or equivalent |
Experience/Lived Experience: | • Previous experience in purchasing or procurement roles • Strong negotiation and analytical skills. • Knowledge of supply chain management principles and best practices .• Experience working with vendors and managing supplier relationships. |
Special Skills/Training: | • Proficiency in procurement software and ERP systems. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills .• Strong organizational abilities with attention to detail. • Ability to multi-task and manage priorities effectively. • Problem-solving and critical thinking capabilities. · Knowledge of Federally Qualified Health Centers and procurement standards |
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. | Coordinate and manage purchasing activities to meet organizational needs. |
2. | Research and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, and service |
3. | Collaborate with leadership to negotiate contracts and pricing with vendors to optimize costs |
4. | Process purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of goods. |
5. | Monitor inventory levels and forecast supply needs. |
6. | Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements |
7. | Resolve discrepancies related to orders, invoices, or deliveries. |
8. | Prepare reports on purchasing activities and cost analyses for the organization |
9. | Performs other duties as assigned. |
