About Margot

Margot Benac started at CommuniCare+OLE in 2023. She received her Master of Social Work from Boston University in 2023 and completed her Bachelor’s degree at California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo in 2015. Prior to coming to CommuniCare+OLE, Margot completed her placement internship at an urban public high school’s student support center and her advanced internship with a sexual assault, domestic violence, and human trafficking nonprofit agency. After the internship had concluded, Margot continued to work as a full-time employee with the SA/DV/HT agency, providing individual psychotherapy as well as conducting various support groups. Margot continues to serve the SA/DV/HT agency through crisis response on the weekends, supporting victims and survivors. Margot specializes in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and is eagerly expanding her proficiencies with additional therapeutic interventions.
