About Maham
Maham Javed started at CommuniCare+OLE in 2025. She received their Master of Physician Assistant Studies from Touro University Nevada in 2025 and completed her Bachelor of Science in Neurobiology, Physiology, and Behavior at UC Davis. Prior to coming to CommuniCare+OLE, she worked in optometry and ophthalmology for a few years between her undergraduate program and Physician Assistant school. She also has extensive experience volunteering in various settings throughout Yolo and Sacramento Counties, through organizations like The Diaper Bank Project and The Resource Desk.
Why I went into healthcare
I became a Physician Assistant to give back to the community and make a meaningful impact on patients’ lives. I am deeply committed to identifying and addressing barriers to care, and I strive to ensure every patient receives the compassionate, comprehensive care they deserve. My approach involves taking the time to understand each patient’s unique medical and nonmedical needs, and I aim to support them in achieving their healthiest, most fulfilling lives.
