About Michaela
Michaela started at CommuniCare+OLE in 2020. She received her Masters in Nursing from the University of California, San Francisco in 2019 and completed her Bachelor’s in Biology at Whitman College. Prior to coming to CommuniCare+OLE, Michaela worked in the San Francisco Bay Area providing reproductive and sexual healthcare and support for teens and adolescents and in her free time provided health care services to folks experiencing houselessness. She specializes in adolescent health, inclusive prenatal care, well person care, and birth control.
My approach to care
As a Certified Nurse Midwife, I believe that being born is important. Similarly, how you and your baby are treated and respected throughout your pregnancy and birth impacts health outcomes for a lifetime.
