About Arcella
Nursing is a second career for Arcella, having previously worked for a small family only business in nutrition for 30 years. She graduated from nursing school one month before the COVID 19 pandemic. She started as a RN at OLE Health in 2020, but later returned to Ohio State University and Sonoma State to be able to practice as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
My approach to care
My philosophy towards patient care is that I should treat the patients I care for as one of my beloved family members.
Why I went into healthcare
I went into medicine because I feel this is a good stage in my life to give back to society and make a difference in people’s health journeys. As a new immigrant to this country I encountered people that selflessly contributed towards my health and I have come to a full circle moment and want to pay it forward. Underserved populations often do not get the care they deserve, I would like to be one of the many who work towards delivering culturally competent care and create a medical home for my patients where they are comfortable to collaborate to gain optimal health.
Something you might not know about me
I am a granny of 3 and there is no bigger joy than sharing this world with these little beings.
