Kate Raymond, ASW, MSW (She/Her)
About Kate
Kate Raymond started at CommuniCare+OLE in 2022. She received her MSW from Cal State East Bay in 2020 and completed her BA in English literature at Cal State Long Beach in 1978. Prior to coming to CommuniCare+OLE, Kate was a Peace Corps Volunteer in West Africa, raised her three children in Davis, taught English literature and composition, was a staff reporter on The Davis Enterprise and was a travel writer and food critic. Kate specializes in trauma-informed care for children and families and has been trained in EMDR.
My approach to care
My approach to care is to meet the client where they are, to encourage an understanding of how to support healthy habits for building resilience, and to develop a trusting relationship between the client and therapist.
