About Akshaydeep
Akshaydeep Singh, PMHNP-BC, started at CommuniCare+OLE in 2025. He received his Master of Science in Nursing Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner degree from Western University of Health Sciences in 2025 and completed his Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Capella University. He previously earned his Associate Degree in Nursing from San Joaquin Delta College. Prior to joining CommuniCare+OLE, Akshaydeep worked at Napa State Hospital, caring for adult forensic psychiatric patients and gaining significant experience in crisis stabilization, psychosis, mood disorders, and long-term psychiatric treatment. He specializes in treating anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, bipolar disorder, psychotic disorders, trauma-related conditions, and co-occurring substance use concerns.
My approach to care
My care philosophy/approach to care: I believe in providing compassionate, culturally grounded, and collaborative mental health care. My approach focuses on meeting patients where they are, listening deeply, and creating individualized treatment plans that empower people to regain stability, confidence, and control over their lives.
Why I went into healthcare
I became a PMHNP because: I have always been driven to serve underserved and diverse communities. Working in psychiatric settings showed me how meaningful it is to support individuals during their most vulnerable moments. I chose this profession so I can help reduce stigma, expand access to mental health care, and make a positive impact in the lives of patients and their families.

Something you might not know about me is that Outside of work, I enjoy traveling, cooking, going to the gym, snowboarding, and exploring new places with my family.
