
Elevate Queer Yolo is a free program for individuals ages 12-26 who live in Yolo County and identify as part of the LGBTQ+ community.
Elevate Queer Yolo helps LGBTQ+ people in Yolo County navigate community resources and provides personalized help with getting medical insurance, finding housing and food, or accessing other social support.
Other services and resources include:
- FREE Trans Wellness Items (clothing, binders, tucking kits, etc.)
- LGBTQ+ Social Support Groups & Events
- 1:1 Peer Counseling with a professional peer advocate who is part of the LGBTQ+ community
- Community Resource Navigation (food, housing, healthcare, employment fairs, other nonprofits)
- Legal Name/Gender Marker Change Assistance
- Virtual LGBTQ+ Support Groups
- Mondays: Adults, 4:00-5:00 p.m.
- Wednesdays: High Schoolers, 4:00-5:00 p.m.
- Fridays: Middle Schoolers, 4:00-5:00 p.m.
- Referral to:
- Therapy/Counseling (18 and older)
- Substance Use & Addiction Recovery Support
- Sexual Health & HIV Prevention/Care (PrEP, PEP, etc.)
- Gender-Affirming Healthcare (hormone therapy, surgery referrals, etc.
