Produce Prescription (Produce Rx)

Produce Rx offers our Yolo County patients with high blood sugar the opportunity to connect to he local agricultural bounty of the region! 

Participants have to access fruits and vegetables, up to $70 per month, as part of their healthcare services at CommuniCare+OLE. 

Patients select vouchers redeemable at the Davis Farmers Market, Mobile Farmers Market, Yolo Nugget, and Yolo Food 4 Less Outlets. Enrollment is for 6-months, and patients can participate every year!

CommuniCare+OLE has been offering a version of the Procuce Rx program since 2018. If you are interested in learning more, talk to your primary care provider about eligibility and enrollment.
