About Carlos
Dr. Soto joined CommuniCare+OLE in 2026. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from The Ohio State University in 2022 and his bachelor’s degree in biomedical sciences from the University of Puerto Rico. Before joining CommuniCare+OLE, Dr. Soto completed a one-year hospital-based residency at Wexner Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio. He then worked as an associate dentist in Sacramento for two years. Dr. Soto specializes in general dentistry and has experience caring for patients of all ages and backgrounds, with an emphasis on the Hispanic and Latino population.
My approach to care
I believe in treating each of my patients as I would expect a family member or myself to be treated.
Why I went into healthcare
I became a dentist because I grew up in an underserved community and wanted to give back to the people and communities that shaped who I am. My path has been dedicated to helping people get the care they need and meeting them where they are.
Something you might not know about me
I was born and raised in Puerto Rico. I enjoy Yoga, spending time with my cat and traveling.
