About Olivia
Olivia Dempster started at CommuniCare+OLE in 2026. She received a Master of Science in Nursing from Sonoma State University in 2025 and completed a Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Columbia University in 2008 and a Bachelor of Arts at University of California, Santa Cruz in 1999. Olivia worked as a Registered Nurse for 18 years before beginning her work at CommuniCare+OLE. She specializes in Family Medicine and providing care to people of all ages.
My approach to care
I strive to be present and engaged with each patient, and provide evidence-based education and treatment. My overarching framework for care relies on effective communication, clinical expertise, and evidence-based practice, provided with respect to the personal values of my patients.
Why I went into healthcare
I became a Nurse Practitioner because I am deeply gratified by the opportunity to care for my patients in a variety of phases of life. I am thrilled to contribute to CommuniCare+OLE’s mission to provide excellent health care to all members of our community.
Something you might not know about me
I was born and raised in St. Helena, and am a proud graduate of the St. Helena Unified School District. It’s wonderful to be back in this beautiful community after many years of travel around the U.S. and abroad. During my adventures, I taught English as a Foreign Language and worked as a Bicycle Tour Guide. I’m currently learning to play the upright bass, and I enjoy singing harmonies with my friends.
