My approach to care

My care philosophy/approach to care is client centered, trauma focused, and strengths based, meeting clients where they are compassionately and with curiosity to collaborate and partner with clients on their unique journeys of healing while ascertaining and reaching their goals.

Why I went into healthcare

I became a Social Worker because I believe therapeutic services should be accessible to everyone, especially those in marginalized and underserved communities. We are all working on something, myself included, and I strive to provide a space where clients can feel understood and heard while fostering collaborative problem solving, skill building and learning about oneself to enhance their quality of life.

Something you might not know about me

Something you might not know about me is that I have lived in five different states (NY, MA, OH, AZ and CA), I have a pet pig (this is what happened when everyone in my family, beside myself, was allergic to dogs and cats!) and I love to read, dance and spend time with family and friends.
