She has been a traditional birth worker for the last decade and carries this knowledge into how she supports patients facing important life transitions, grief and loss. She also specializes in supporting patients experiencing challenges with depression, anxiety, trauma including PTSD, attachment, and birth trauma.

My approach to care

My care philosophy is that we all have the innate ability to heal if given the appropriate conditions. As a mental health provider my approach is to be culturally responsive, trauma informed, compassionate and always using a holistic lens to support my patients.

Why I went into healthcare

I became a social worker because I am passionate about healing and I saw the need for bicultural and bi-lingual therapy in my community. I firmly believe in the transformative power of being seen, heard, and respected and it is my honor to get to give this to those I care for.

Something you might not know about me

Something you might not know about me is that I love to travel! and there is no place I’d rather be than in my home state of Oaxaca, Mexico.
