About Michaela
Michaela Tricola started at CommuniCare+OLE in 2025. She She received her Master’s from Hofstra University in 2023 and completed her Bachelor’s at Syracuse University in 2018. Prior to coming to CommuniCare+OLE, she worked at a large FQHC in Washington, DC. She specializes in adolescent and adult medicine with a strong passion for Gender Affirming Care.
My approach to care
My approach to care focuses on empowering patients to take control of their health through education, partnership, and trust. I believe every person deserves a champion—someone who listens deeply, honors their lived experience, and shows up with compassion and consistency fully.
Why I went into healthcare
I wanted to make a meaningful impact in communities where care is often hardest to access. At CommuniCare+OLE Health, I’m proud to serve populations who have historically been underserved, because everyone deserves high-quality, dignified care—regardless of income, background, or identity. I’m a firm believer that community is a powerful form of medicine—and I’m lucky to live and work in one I care about deeply.
